Sabarimala protest: Widespread incidents of violence and vandalism reported

A dawn-to-dusk hartal or shutdown was held in Kerala on Thursday, which was called by several right-wing outfits in protest against the entry of two women Bindu and Kanakadurga, both in their 40s, into the Sabarimala shrine in the state on Wednesday. Incidents of stone pelting, violence and vandalism were reported from across Kerala. Three BJP workers were also injured at Vadanappaly, while security was beefed up across the state. Read Here

Sensex falls 377 points, Nifty ends below 10,700 amid global cues
